Anyway, (whoa, just received really lkFLKJSFkl text message), ANYWAY...Halloween totally snuck up on me. I just realized it's HERE and I don't have any sort of costume. Again. I mean, I don't really LIKE dressing up, but I can't be that person who show's up at a party without one.

So I dunno what I'm gonna do about that.

Meanwhile, I read Fever Pitch a couple weeks ago and loved it. I got a ticket for the Aston Villa match at home in Dec. And I need to teach Ashley to communicate so that I can make him lend me that freakin' DVD, but he's worse at keeping in touch than I am.

That all reminds me though, Saturday is gonna be brilliant. We're playing Tottenham, woot. I know this is Greek to a lot of you, but they're rivals so --The suspense Argh! But equally exciting is the fact that Fado is showing Chelski, Liverpool, and ManUre as well, and all between 830am and 1pm. More or less the top 5 teams and I can keep up with 4 matches almost simultaneously. I can start drinking at 830AM and still be home in the early afternoon, then potentially continue drinking that evening.

So Squish and I are descending on NYC at the end of this month, as we've mentioned a couple times. Still trying to work out a place to stay. Apparently couch surfers are extra picky in ny. So here's me crossing my fingers and wondering how many people I still know near the city.

That said, if you are in the area and have any suggestions of fun stuff to do between planned events, let me know. Never been before. I know the big stuff we'll have to do.

But I need the other details. Where do I get pizza, dammit? Where should we drink? Any other off the beaten trail things we just HAVE to see? etc etc

In which I will bore you all to tears.

Ok, so it downloaded while I was at work yesterday, except when I got home at 1130pm I still had to deal with all 2314971091823 patches. Ugh. And each one needed me to click continue or finish to procede to the next. So yeah, I couldn't even go afk. *pout*

Finally got it all installed about 2AM, had enough time to make a character and get to a whopping lvl 6 before I had to go to bed for work again today. Joy.

It's all very silly. I have a cow with boobs which weirds me out a little. Almost as much as the fact that I have a cow which will eventually turn into a bear, cat, or tree. o_O Cheesy much? Still, it was entertaining enough, even if the drop rates were shite.

The fact that I can't trade or IM people on a trial acct would prolly turn me off if I didn't already plan on upgrading when I have the time later tonight. Having one tiny bag is a pita and not being able to talk to people would make the game way less enjoyable since my favourite part of mmos is the multi-player part.

So I created this character on Gul'dan where a few LoTRO friends play, hoard side, because I know them and know they're on around the same times I am. I'll create the alliance character, prolly a paladin, on the other recommended server here in the next few days, most likely once I've upgraded, but it's tough since I'm used to being on late and having in-game voice. Also, getting used to different hotkeys. I might have to adjust a few.
